Q: Blue screen after insert SD C4 Dell D60 hard disk into the computer and open it.
A: Make sure Dell D630 computer is integrated video card and with 1GB memory, because the D630 of discrete video card is easy to have blue screen or shutdown and restart, restart and shutdown.

A: Check whether computer is compatible with SD C4 2013.05 software. 2. About languages available
Q: Is DAS available with 21 languages and optional to reset? Or only English available?
A: The DAS on the desktop is only English available, after enter into Xentry you are allowed to set the language you want. Just enter into Xentry whatever car models you want to diagnose, and if the car model should be diagnosed and programmed in the DAS but you enter Xentry, it will automatically switch into DAS and the DAS language will be as the same as the Xentry language.
3. About update
Q: MB SD C4 Connect Compact 4 Star 2013.03 update error: the software update was aborted. Please repeat the update process. (662)
A: do not update MB SD Connect Compact 4. You are allowed to update hardware version to 2.02, not 2.2.
4. About activation/code
Q1: When Setup SD connect Compact 4 hard disk, while got a message reading “No access authorization code! Please contact the Star diagnosis call center.

Note: The operation steps of Mercedes-Benz W220 require unplugging / disconnecting OBD pins 3, 8 and 11 from OBD port, which can avoid communication problems.
It needs to be connected with the powertrain CAN. Connect CH to green / white and CL to green solid cable. Connect CH and CL of car to pins 3-11 of DS-Box. All cables can be found under the plastic on the driver ’s side.
Using the needle pinch connectors,the solid red wire is terminal 30.It is connected to Terminal 15(red/pink) via flip switch.
The flip switch is used to turn ignition ON once prompted by the software.
Terminal 30 is separated and a fuse connector is installed.
The fuse adapter is used to connect to the DS-Box Relay.
Run Abrites Diagnostics software for Mercedes Benz,select “OBDII” cable type-connection
Go to the Special Functions and open the DAS Manager
Start off by reading the EZS
Select “Get EZS Pass”
Select “IR-Adapter and Fuse-Relay”
Insert the IR-Adapter in the EZS
Connect OBDII pins 3 11 to the internal ECU CAN bus.Activate term. 15 of the EZS.ESM fuse should be disconnected.
Keep the key in the ignition.
Term.15 should be active.ESM fuse should be disconnected.
The connections to the PT CAN were previously done,only the ESM has to be disconnected.
Its fuse is to be found under the fuse-box on the left side of the engine compartment.
The ESM Fuse 37(15A) is to be removed
Connect terminal 30 to terminal 15 using the switch
Once all the preparations are done,the procedures will start

If an ECU has been flashed with a defective software and other ECUs reports that it is missing,you need to recover it.So here www.obd2tool.com show you guide on how to use ECU Programming Tool Scania XCOM diagnostic software to recover defective ECU.
Procedures:
1) Select “recovery from defective software” from the Communication menu.
2) Select the defective ECU.
3) Select to recover it. XCOM will try to connect to the ECU now and should succeed within seconds. In case if XCOM fails try to connect to another CAN bus directly on the ECU.
4) On success a message will be shown:
5) Immediately connect with a flash program (Gadget or DMec) and repair the ECU with a no defective software. Do not turn the key or reset the ECU in another way, in that case the whole procedure have to be redone.
Here is a real repair case from my blog reader,he share it to me and i re-edit it for share it.His Caterpillar 320D is hardly to operate,it move slowly when operating.Even with free load,it also need more than 10 seconds to turn around.
Before Repairing,here ask some question for the problem:
Question 1oes your Caterpillar 320D engine rotate speed correctly during full load.
Answer 1:Yes,the engine rotate speed is correct,when it with full load.
Question 2:Is the engine smog color looked correctly when it will full load?
Answer 2:Yes,it is heath
Caterpillar 320D Move Slowly Diagnostics:
1.Caterpillar 320D excavator can work with 3 modes:Elaborate mode,common mode and heavy load mode.The 3 work modes work related load:75%,90% and 100%.If the CAT Caterpillar ET 320D is set under elaborate mode,maybe cause move slowly.(Customer check it work on heavy load mode)
2.Because the engine rotate speed and engine smog are correctly,so the engine is work fine.It maybe the hydraulic system get trouble.
1) Pilot system control oil line with low pressure
The pilot pump provides pressure oil for the pilot system called main control oil line,it can make excavator do related motion.If the pilot system fails and the pilot system pressure is too low,it will cause pilot oil can not control the main control valve or the main control valve spool travel will be shortly,so it will make excavator move slowly.
2) Main pump with low pressure
3) Hydraulic oil line is blocked or hydraulic filter air-logged.
Caterpillar 320D Move Slowly Repair:
1.Check hydraulic oil,it is normal
2.Measure the pressure of the reducing valve is 10kg/cm2,and the inner filter was blocked
3.The hydraulic oil tank was duty and there is a lot of impurities.
4.Pilot pump work fine
Solution:
Clean the hydraulic system 3 time and replace the hydraulic oil and filter.
Connect Toyota Mini VCI cable to your OBD port and laptop USB cable
Run Tango software and select “TangoPlus”–>”Toyota”
Here you need click “Settings” to select you interface
Click “Connect to Car”
After then click “Read Data from Car”
After EEPROM reading,you can click “Save File” button to save the EEPROM file on your pc
Then follow the prompt massage to use SLK-03 transponder,put SLK-03 into Tango programmer into the coil
Click “Write Emulator” and select “SLK-03”
After write emulator finishing,use SLK-03 emulator to press “Ignition Switch” on Toyota
Registration of New Smart Keys:
There are many diagnostic software in the world that can learn new keys. This procedure is outside of our software and is a subject of customer’s choice.
To enter the Registration procedure at least one valid SmartKey is necessary. After the learning software asks you for the valid SmartKey, show him the written emulator instead of the original car’s key. The emulator created in the previous step serves to authenticate Registration procedure.
