The weather in Michigan is on the dreary side today. It is drizzly, and there is no snow in sight.:P So I decided to combat the grey look by uploading some Christmas cheer. :)

Hi Everybody,

I hope all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a great one!

I have a clarification to make about a certain turkey of a recipe that I posted in my journal....

I told a few of you (mostly Americans) about the recipe and encouraged you to read it. But I put a picture of a lovely turkey dinner in my post. I think that many of you already had beautiful turkeys in the oven and didn't concern yourselves with reading mine because you didn't need it.

My bad! I really should have used the following picture. It fits my recipe a lot better!

Hi Heather,

I hope you are doing well. As for me, I am still "Under Construction" as per my journal entry-- but I finally am beginning to feel like I am making some headway. :D

My first wallpaper here is very special to me, and it may look familiar to you. It isn't the same picture as I used for my Avatar, but it is the same rough collie! I think you will like my description of her, especially if you love animals.:)

This collie, Annie, is the one that I owned just before my current collie, Katie. I made a wallpaper of Katie last May. I included it here so that you can compare a rough collie and a smooth collie side by side. Believe it or not, the only difference between the 2 of them is their coats! (Also, Annie is 5 years old and Katie is 1 year old in these pictures.)

I also included one of the squirrels that hangs around my backyard. He was actually keeping an eye on Katie (who luckily didn't spot him) when this photo was taken! lol

Rediscovering the special photo of my beloved collie Annie, has made me very happy. I hope you find something this week to feel just as warm and happy about.

Autumn Greetings from Michigan! :D
It's a beautiful blue skied day today, and Autumn is finally in full swing. There are plenty of colors in the trees and enough green leaves left to add to the wonderful variety of leafy hues.

This is one of the few days that I have to glue myself in my computer chair so that I don't go dashing outside. Usually it's the other way around. lol

I got off of my computer long enough to chase bees and a butterfly around with my camera. When I started experiencing computer withdrawal, I made the last one....lol
