I am a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and ex-military. I am particularly proud of my daughter in her Figure Skating career and accomplishments and her character...but that has more to do with her, than me. I've been told I'm something of a jack of all trades since I have had such a broad variety of careers and opportunities in my life until recently. I don't claim any expertise to speak of, but I have enjoyed the broad variety of changes and challenges. I was a rather skilled Violinist in my younger years, I enjoyed the sports during high school and was quite good at wrestling, I enjoyed the Military and it's opportunities, I loved the martial arts...especially Kenpo. I have a fairly strong leaning toward being an adventurer, sky diving, nursing, construction of various sorts, chemical/pharmaceutical worker and manager, restaurant manager, electrical utility trades, trucker owner/operator, etc etc. | | Interests: | I dearly love wolves, nature, old world ways, religious philosophy, Indian legend, lore, and heritage, sci-fi and fantasy, adventure, open vistas, travel (albeit vicariously), aircraft and flight, military interests of different varieties, martial arts, weapons, eschatology (study of the last days or end times), etc etc. Anything regarding honor, nobility, and loyalty (which are in such short supply these days) is a very big deal to me. I particularly love the seemingly diametric thematic opposites...Sand, sun, beaches, oceans and the remote tropical paradises, and then Mountains and the isolation of pristeen mountain lakes and untouched forests and prairie vistas. | | Favorite Music: | My all time favorite is (hands down) the Beach Boys, but I love 60's and 70's easy listening of a broad variety, REO Speedwagon, CCR, Bread, Karen Carpenter, Gordon Lightfoot and especially his "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and his "Railroad Trilogy", Simon and Garfunkle, the Beatles, rock, pop, and a variety of modern country artists and themes like Toby Keith and Craig Morgan, some older country like "Convoy" by C.W. McCall. Ballads of various sorts, especially those that revolve around honor and sacrifice or nobility...again...that is the one dominant theme for me that is of the highest calibre in terms of being important. | | Favorite Books: | The Bible and End Times or Last Days analysis and study books (regarding eschatology) such as books by Hal Lindsey and Grant Jeffrey as well as Tim Lahaye...and a host of others, sci-fi and fantasy, Lord of the Rings trilogy...and other authors like Terry Brooks and Sword of Shannara, etc. Some action adventures. | | Favorite Movies: | Jeff Speakman in "The Perfect Weapon" (representing Kenpo Karate)...perhaps my all time favorite...catch this Kata which is my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmjrI11bMz0,
but also running high are also the Star Wars series. Terminator series. Star Trek series, Highlander series, Mission Impossible series, James Bond series, Soldier with Kurt Russell (I really Like that one) and other movies of his like The Thing, Indiana Jones series and other movies of Harrison Ford, Jennifer Garner in Elektra, Daredevil, Bruce Willis stuff like Die Hard and it's sequels and of course "Armageddon", the "Alien" series with Sigourney Weaver, movies starring Angelina Jolie, Underworld series, Resident Evil series, Rocky series, Some Chuck Norris, Steven Segal, Jean Claude VanDamn, other Karate noteworthy films including some Bruce Lee, old Jules Verne stuff, Jurassic Park series, Will Smith in a few different movies such as Independance Day and Men In Black, and (of course) Avatar. Do you see a theme here? I do...the honor, nobility, loyalty, sacrifice stuff...again, a big deal to me. | | Favorite TV Shows: | Old Battle Star Galactica, Star Treks of all time spans, Buck Rogers, Forever Knight, Highlander series, Other World, Lonewolf McQuade series, 12 O'Clock high, Mission Impossible, Black Sheep Squadron. Currently I like Stargate and it's variants like StarGate Atlantis, Angel, Lost Girl, Merlin, Being Human, Alphas, Falling Skies, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Smallville...you get the idea. Plus, last but not least, I love the old cartoons, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, etc. I also enjoy all of the Survivor episodes, events. | Favorite Quotes: | "It will be what it will be"
"Today is a good day to die"
"He who hesitates, meditates in a horizontal position" which is a saying from our master Sensei Ed Parker (passed on now) from Kenpo, Karate.
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"
"Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of its self"
And...from the trucking community:
"It's good to be on this side of the grass"
and
"Keep it between the lines" |

| mtlonewolf commented on the Models Female wallpaper Jayme Langford On Red.
A beautiful red background with a bold backdrop for such a wonderful presentation! She reminds me slightly of Kirstie Alley..a younger version of course! I suppose that's just me, but she does have similar features I think. Beautifully done with that tossed hair look! Wonderfully rich eyes and beautifully colored lips in peach/red! Lovely rich skin tones! Very nice presentation! |

Her eyes are almost shocking! Such a light shade of blue! Rich red nails and peach/red lips! Marvelously shaded skin color and such a sheen to her rich red hair, so beautifully curled! She seems almost caught off guard, doesn't she? Is it my imagination, or did you every so slightly graduate the blue coloration in the background from top to bottom? It looks lovely and is quite complimentary! Love the use of your bevelled edge and the shadow employed! |

I love the power and style you've captured so well in this imagery! The models provocative pose was a definite bit of power, especially in that era! Her rich reds and beautifully colored skin with orange/red/yellow/copper hues in the shadows are so typical of that time I think! It has a very dynamic presence to it, especially with the battleship or steel grey in the background! I see you intentionally used a larger striated horizontal pattern of fine stripes as if it were machined to a smooth composite appearance! The larger bevel, so softly curved is such a wonderful compliment to this image and that rich red lipstick kiss in the corner is a perfect finishing touch to compliment your powerful wording and font at the top! Lovely use of red/grey and shadow! Magnificently presented! Very impressive! I could easily see this..even remember rare imagery I can still recall of old signage in quaint shops that had this style of imagery! Couldn't you just see this on the side of a battleship or a powerful bomber of that day? I sure could! Wonderfully done! |
