The man is an explorer, they say. now there is a guide to the most original ideas of male occupation.

Included are, among other things, the Hygiene Museum in Dresden, the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance, Bruce Willis\' birthplace Idar-Oberstein, the bunker of the NVA in Kossa near Wittenberg, the tank drivers in Landsberg (Saxony-Anhalt),

the Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Leipzig , the Tractor rental in Nesselwang (Allgäu), of course the film park and the world\'s only Quentin Tarantino street in Potsdam-Babelsberg , the former nuclear power plant in Greifswald, the western park El Dorado in the Uckermark as far as the paintball center at Schwarzlsee in Austria.
The Glienicke Bridge , the Kyffhäuser Monument, the Ozeanum in Stralsund and the Speyer Auto & Technik Museum, the canoe park in Markleeberg and the Berlin Olympic Stadium are also listed.
So it can only be a selection, there are too many places that are (not) only interesting for men.
Everyone takes something different from the respective places. For example, I was drawn to the steam engine cylinder in Löbejün near Halle , while Oliver Schröter went diving in the old quarry. Brilliant, this desire to explore.

However, I did not find some important places, such as the Audi Horch Museum in Zwickau, the copper mine in Wettelrode in Mansfeld, the replica of the first German steam engine in the Mansfeld Museum in Hettstedt and one or the other daily steam train. For example the Brockenbahn or Fichtelbergbahn or the Rasender Roland.
So I see the Weihenstephan brewery as one of many other breweries worth seeing. Because the brewery in Singen (Thuringia) is still a hit for me.
Especially since all the units there are still operated via transmissions, which draw their power from a small steam engine dating from around 1900. Also worth seeing are the steam engines in the Dessow brewery (near Kyritz) or in the A. Borsig estate near Nauen.
Tractors and tractor meetings are now cult, as is the tractor calendar. I can also recommend every explorer the Olympic Village near Berlin-Spandau and the Sielmann Park Dallgow Döberitzer Heide just opposite .
And the steamship “Gustav†in the port of Potsdam.

And Ferropolis, the technology wonderland near Bitterfeld, is included in the book, which also makes me think of the accessible F 60 conveyor bridge in the Lausitz area.
Sylt and Usedom, but also Rügen offer surprises for explorers. The center of the natural worlds in List on Syl t is a must for explorers, as well as the Darwineum in Rostock and Gondwanaland in Leipzig .
But women go there too. :-)What about Tropical Island and Lausitzringnear Cottbus? But then we are already at the book 111 places in Brandenburg that you must have seen that I recently presented here. The series "111 places..."
has been around for 5 years, so far almost 1000 different titles have been published, Potsdam is not one of them yet. Saxony-Anhalt, the heartland of German history, is still missing.
I also know at least 100 technical monuments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and of course more than 111 palaces, castles and mystical places.
