Dear Jodi, thank you for writing, I am trying to get back into the hand drawing as well, but here I forgot the odd the odd texture of colored charcoal vs. plain, and pencil gives more detail in some cases, except blending. Other wise I am fooling around with this paint program and learning by accident little things here and there. Have a great weekend Joe
