The history making trio of Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer and Mark O'Connor perform O'Connor's composition 'Poem for Carlita" at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City. The three virtuoso string players performed this new American Classical music with such depth, passion and detail that the New York City audience erupted in an ovation after Yo-Yo Ma's final - nearly silent harmonic note. Notice the look of admiration on O'Connor's face as he looks at Ma at the conclusion of the piece, impressed by the cellist's interpretive skills of his music. It is evident that this performance went to a new place for the trio and a new level for American Classical string playing.

My Dear DN Family of Friends, Thinking of all of you and
wishing you a wonderful beginning to a new week and
have a splendid Monday with loved ones.

Today after dinner, one of my students Khaled from
Saudi Arabia suggested that we watch together
Fast & Furious 7. He had uploaded it on his I Phone
and we were able to watch it on my TV, amazing.

I have two new students that have joined us Pablo
from Germany and Shogo from Japan arrivals to
the old home-stay this weekend. The 3 are
getting along great and we all enjoyed the movie
so much. At the end of the film there was not
a dry eye in the living room thinking of the
loss of Paul Walker , gone too soon.

God bless DN family of friends and thanking you with
baskets of hugs and wishes come true for thinking of
me and the kitties. Always Carmen , Picasso & Pasha.
