Una bella princesa estaba buscando consorte. Nobles y ricos pretendientes llegaban de todas partes con maravillosos regalos: joyas, tierras, ej�rcitos, tronos… Entre los candidatos se encontraba un joven plebeyo que no tenia mas riquezas que el amor y al perseverancia.
Cuando le llego el momento de hablar,dijo:
-Princesa, te he amado toda la vida. Como soy un hombre pobre y no tengo tesoros para darte, te ofrezco mi sacrificio como prueba de amor. Estar� cien dias sentado bajo la ventana, sin mas alimento que la lluvia y sin mas ropas que las que llevo puestas. Esa ser� mi dote.
La princesa,conmovida por semejante gesto de amor, decidi� aceptar:
-Tendras la oportunidad: si pasas esa prueba, me desposar�s.
Asi pasaron las horas y los dias. El pretendiente permaneci� afuera del palacio, soportando el sol, los vientos, la nieve, las noches heladas. Sin pesta�ear, con la vista fija al balcon a su amada, el valiente s�bdito sigui� firme en su empe�o sin desfallecer un momento.
De vez en cuando la cortina de la ventana real dejaba traslucir esbelta figura de la princesa,que con un noble gesto y una sonrisa aprobaba la faena. Todo iba a mil maravillas,se hicieron apuestas y algunos optimistas comenzaron a planear de festejos.
Al llegar el dia noventa y nueve, los pobladores de la zona salieron a animar al pr�ximo comarca. Todo era alegria y jolgorio,pero cuando faltaba una hora para cumplirse el plazo, ante la mirada at�nita de los asistentes y la perplejidad de la princesa, el joven se levant� y,sin dar explicacion alguna, se alej� lentamente del lugar donde habia permanecido casi los cien dias.
Unas semanas despues, mientras deambulaba por un solitario camino, un ni�o de la comarca lo alcanz� y le pregunt� a quemarropa:
- �QUE TE OCURRIO? Estabas a un paso de lograr la meta, �por qu� perdiste esa oportunidad? �porque te retiraste?
Con una profunda consternaci�n y l�grimas mal disimuladas, el plebeyo contest� con voz alta:
- La princesa no me ahorr� ni un dia de sufrimiento, ni siquiera una hora. No merecia mi amor.

This is the story of a boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost patience, should drive a nail behind the door.
The first day, the boy nailed 37 nails behind the door. The weeks that followed, as he learned to control his temper, becoming less nails dug behind the door.
One day he discovered it was easier to hold his temper than drive nails behind the door. The day came when he could control his character all day.
After informing his father, he advised him to withdraw a nail every day you could control your character.
The days passed and the young man was able to announce to his father that there were more nails to remove the door ...

Cierta vez, un hombre pidi� a DIOS una flor y una mariposa.
Pero DIOS le di� un c�ctus…

El Hombre qued� triste, pues no entendi� por qu� su pedido lleg� errado. Luego pens�:
Con tanta gente que atender…. Y resolvi� no cuestionar. Pasado alg�n tiempo, el hombre fue a
verificar el pedido que dej� olvidado.
Para su sorpresa, del espinoso y feo c�ctus hab�a nacido la m�s bella de las flores y la horrible oruga se transform� en una bell�sima mariposa.
DIOS siempre hace lo correcto. Su camino es el mejor, aunque a nuestros ojos
parezca que todo est� errado…

"The poor ignorant"
A man, very simple and illiterate, knocked on the doors of a monastery. He wishes to purify and find true meaning in life. He asked to be accepted as a novice, but the monks thought the man was so simple and illiterate who could not even understand the most basic scriptures or perform the most basic studies. As they saw he was very interested to remain in the monastery, they gave him a broom and told to deal daily sweep the garden. So, for years, the man very carefully swept the garden without missing a single day of his duty. Gradually, all the monks began to see changes in the attitude of man. He looked so peaceful, joyful, balanced! All he exuded an atmosphere of sublime peace. And both drew attention his inspiring presence, the monks, to talk to him, realized that he had obtained a considerable degree of spiritual evolution and exceptional purity of heart. Odd, asked if he had followed a practice or special method, but man, very simply, said:

~El pobre ignorante~
Un hombre, muy sencillo y analfabeto, llam� a las puertas de un monasterio. Ten�a deseos verdaderos de purificarse y hallar un sentido a la existencia. Pidi� que le aceptasen como novicio, pero los monjes pensaron que el hombre era tan simple e iletrado que no podr�a ni entender las m�s b�sicas escrituras ni efectuar los m�s elementales estudios. Como le vieron muy interesado por permanecer en el monasterio, le proporcionaron una escoba y le dijeron que se ocupara diariamente de barrer el jard�n. As�, durante a�os, el hombre barri� muy minuciosamente el jard�n sin faltar ni un solo d�a a su deber. Paulatinamente, todos los monjes empezaron a ver cambios en la actitud del hombre. �Se le ve�a tan tranquilo, gozoso, equilibrado! Emanaba de todo �l una atm�sfera de paz sublime. Y tanto llamaba la atenci�n su inspiradora presencia, que los monjes, al hablar con �l, se dieron cuenta de que hab�a obtenido un considerable grado de evoluci�n espiritual y una excepcional pureza de coraz�n. Extra�ados, le preguntaron si hab�a seguido alguna pr�ctica o m�todo especiales, pero el hombre, muy sencillamente, repuso:
--No, no he hecho nada, creedme.
"Me he dedicado diariamente, con amor, a limpiar el jard�n, y, cada vez que barr�a la basura, pensaba que estaba tambi�n barriendo mi coraz�n y limpi�ndome de todo veneno."
*El Maestro dice: "El mayor ignorante hallar� la paz si su intenci�n es genuina;" el erudito m�s destacado proseguir� a oscuras si su intenci�n no es la correcta.

A boy and his father were walking in the mountains, when suddenly, the son falls, hurts and cries, "Oh!"
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating somewhere in the mountain "ouch".
With curiosity, he screams, "Who\'s there?" received in response, "Who\'s there?".
Angered by the response he screams "Coward!" and get an answer "Coward".
The child looks to his father and asks, "what is happening?".
The smiling father says:
"My son, pay attention" to the mountain and shout "I admire you!" and the voice replied "I admire you!" the man yells back, "You\'re a champion" and the voice replied, "You are a champion."
The child is shocked but does not understand, the father explains:
"People call this echo, but it is actually life gives you back everything you say and do. Our life is but a reflection of our actions, and if you want more love in the world, create more love around you, if you want happiness brings happiness to those around you, if you want a smile on the soul, gives a smile to the soul of those who know.
This relationship applies to all aspects of life, life gives you back exactly what you have given. Your life is not a coincidence, it is a reflection of you.

Un ni�o y su padre iban caminando en las monta�as, cuando de repente, el hijo se cae, se lastima y grita, "Ay!"
Para su sorpresa oye una voz repitiendo en alg�n lugar de la monta�a "Ay!".
Con curiosidad el ni�o grita "�qui�n est� ah�?" recibe como respuesta "�qui�n anda all�?".
Enojado por la respuesta el ni�o grita "Cobarde!" y recibe como respuesta "Cobarde!".
El ni�o mira a su padre y le pregunta, "que sucede?".
El padre sonriendo le dice:
"Hijo m�o, presta atenci�n", y grita a la monta�a "te admiro!" y la voz le responde "te admiro!", de nuevo el hombre grita "eres un campe�n" y la voz le responde "eres un campe�n".
El ni�o esta asombrado pero no entiende, el padre le explica:
"La gente lo llama eco, pero en realidad es la vida, te devuelve todo lo que dices y haces. Nuestra vida es solamente un reflejo de nuestras acciones; si deseas m�s amor en el mundo, crea m�s amor a tu alrededor; si deseas felicidad, da felicidad a los que te rodean; si quieres una sonrisa en el alma, da una sonrisa al alma de los que conoces.
Esta relaci�n se aplica a todos los aspectos de la vida, la vida te dar� de regreso exactamente aquello que tu le has dado. Tu vida no es una coincidencia, es un reflejo de ti.
