About Me:To begin with, I live in the state of
Wisconsin.
I do have many interests. For many years though, I have been selling Note Cards & Jigsaw Puzzles. That is how I know some of the titles of the wallpapers.
I've recently become aware that a few people are upset with my comments when I add to favorites.
I do ask, please do not be upset, especially when about the title.
Because of my selling of these items. I am trying to be helpful, not the other way around.
And last but not least, I do write every now and then and in trying to be helpful with title, I attempt to put my talent to work. Is better than cat, dog, etc. and if there is a mis-spell, I simply let somebody know in a nice way.
I do not go out of my way here to make waves, even over the littlest things. That is sometimes how wars get started. Just something for all of you to think about.
Interests:I am a animal lover. But I would have to say, my two loves are cats & horses. I love Quarter Horses and I
very fond of the Clydesdales; what a handsome breed they are. I also have an attraction for Friesian Horses. Their most common color is black.
I also like Jigsaw Puzzles. They are fun to do around the Holiday Season.
And my 2 favorite sports is Horse Racing & NFL Football.
And I've had several house cats in my life---still do. I will never tire of them.
Of wildlife, I have a great interest in the big cats. And the wolf is always a constant threat of beating shot, even when they're not. And the Polar Bear, the, biggest bear on Earth, this one is my favorite and is one of Santa's animals. Because of Global Warming, I am always holding my breath for the Polar Bear.
Favorite Music:Any kind of contemporary music; The Letterman, Helen Reddy, Andy Williams, Ray Stevens, Glen Campbell, Barbra Striesand, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Vikki Carr, Celine Dion,
Landow Eugene Murphy, Jr. Etc.
He is last season's America's Got Talent Winner.
I do believe that Frank Sinatra gave this person his voice.
Some of my favorite actors are Jean Cooper (mostly Soap Star), Robert Horton, Ward Bond, James Drury, Charlton Heston, Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Robert Conrad, Jack Klugman, Tom Selleck, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Susan Hayward, & Marilyn Monroe.

Favorite Movies:Doctor Zhivigo, Gone with the Wind, Where the Red Fern Grows, (all Star Trek & Star War movies, plus the Superman ones.

Hi Pat,

I am enjoying the Christmas season & looking forward to Christmas itself. I hope you are also. :)

It was harder than usual for me to leave the Autumn season, however. That's because I fell in love with the beautiful Autumn leaves in my area this year. (Actually, it's still Autumn, but all of the trees here are now bare. We also had our first snowfall yesterday, so it sure doesn't seem like Autumn!)

For me, the 4 wallpapers I've just uploaded are transitional. One has Autumn colors, but 3 of the 4 are Christmas walls. I call them that because (a)they have a lot of red & green in them, and (b)2 of the 3 "red & greens" have Christmas tree shapes in them!:D

All 4 of these wallpapers were made with only "natural" ingredients... mainly, leaves. I collected the leaves I used for nearly 8 weeks! (I can just hear some of you saying, "So THAT'S what she does with her spare time... lol :)

Hi Everybody! :D

I hope that you are doing well, and have many things to be thankful for. Desktop Nexus is a big one for me, and I bet it is for you also! :)

Another thing that I'm very thankful for is Autumn. The trees are so beautiful when their leaves turn... in my "neck of the woods" it is a wonderful feast for the eyes. Perfect for a color freak like me! :D

One thing that made this Autumn truly exciting for me is that I got to go to CANADA for one glorious day! I've been trying to get there for years! (I bet that all of you Canadians are either applauding, or are thinking that I'm just a little bit nuts... lol)

The three wallpapers below were all taken in Canada, 2 by me, and one by my husband. I've written a journal post about the day we were in Canada. I hope you'll have a look at it, if only to see that I'm not totally nuts...! Here is the link to it;

Hi Everybody,

I hope you are doing well. :)

As I write this, I'm listening to lots of banging and crashing. It's been going on all day! At long last we are getting a badly needed new roof on our house. We've been saving up for it for 3 years. To my amazement, Katie our collie is taking all of the noise & pounding a lot better than I thought she would. Now if only I could get her resigned to traffic noises...

I'm looking forward to passing out candy to trick or treaters this Monday. But the best Halloween fun I've had so far this year is planning & designing these 2 wallpapers! I chased one of them down with my camera...and the other one took me waaaay more time to do than I ever dreamed it would. It was worth it, but...if I spent 30ish hours on every abstract I made, I'd go absolutely crazy! (Did I just hear a couple of smart alecs say that I'm totally crazy already? Rat's... the secret is out! :P)
