Macos monterey 12 iso is the second Mac operating system made with M1 chips. It runs on older Intel-based Mac models. Presented during Apple\'s WWDC21 keynote, the new OS can be found on a number of Mac models. Read on to discover its pros and cons. You may even want to upgrade your Mac to try out Monterey yourself. Here are a few of the features:

FaceTime video calls

If you\'re looking for a new operating system for your Mac, consider upgrading to macOS Monterey. This new version is one of the best upgrades for Macs in years. It\'s brighter, and has the controls that are common in iOS and iPadOS. It also has a brand-new Notes app and some FaceTime updates. Here are some reasons to do so.

MacOS Monterey includes a new feature called "tab groups," which enables you to save a group of tabs for quick access. If you\'re not comfortable sharing your entire screen, you can share a specific window. To change the shared window, simply click the "SharePlay" button at the top right corner. You can also choose which apps and websites you\'d like to share.

FaceTime for business

In addition to the usual video calling and voice messaging features, FaceTime for business on MacOS Monterey also comes with new features. For instance, you can now schedule calls and send web link invitations to colleagues, clients, and other users. FaceTime will also be integrated with Teams, Microsoft\'s collaboration platform that will be rolled out to Windows 11 eventually. This will allow you to share files and share screen, without interfering with one another.

In addition to FaceTime for business, the macOS Monterey 12 is also compatible with other apps and services, including the new Apple Maps application. If you are running an older version of macOS, you should consider upgrading your computer to this new version as it offers more advanced features. Just make sure to check out the Mac compatibility guide for more information. MacOS Big Sur was the last major update, bringing new updates to macOS and a completely revamped look. New features include an iOS-inspired Control Centre, a new Notifications Centre, and Widgets.

Quick Note feature

Apple has made the Quick Note feature of macOS Monterey available as a system-wide option in a new version of the OS. Users can create new notes by highlighting text on a web page and clicking on a shortcut button. This feature is also available in iOS. Just like any other note, the user can edit their notes as well as add notes from any other app.

The Quick Note feature of MacOS Monterey makes accessing the Notes app much easier. The quick note tool opens with a click of the mouse pointer or by pressing the keyboard shortcuts, Globe Q. Once a note is opened, users can drop links or photos into it. The notes can be shared with others using a collaborative feature, much like in Google Docs. Users can add media to the notes and make changes real-time.

Compatible with wide range of Macs

The Apple Mac product line has expanded in recent years, making the choice between desktop and laptop computers more difficult than ever. Some people are looking for an all-in-one solution for their everyday computing needs, while others are more interested in using a laptop on a desk or table. Whatever your needs, you\'ll find a model that will fit the bill. Let\'s take a closer look at the different options available.

Downgrade to macOS Big Sur

Before you downgrade your Mac to macOS Big Sur, it is important to back up your data. After all, the new version of macOS will delete all your data. If you have a Time Machine backup, you can always restore the data after the downgrade. To start the process of downgrading, plug your Mac into an electrical outlet and open the Utilities menu. Choose the GUID Partition Map and confirm.

There are two ways to downgrade to macOS Big Sur. The first is to restore your Mac from a Time Machine backup. The other is to reinstall macOS using a bootable installer. If you have Time Machine, you can restore your Mac to a previous version of the operating system. First, boot your Mac in Recovery Mode and choose \'Restore from Time Machine backup\'. Next, select the Macintosh HD. After the computer reboots, you can use the bootable installer to install macOS Big Sur.
