About Me: For many years I had the privilege of helping Adults learn to read and also receive their GED's. I am also retired after 25 wonderful years of service with our city's Library System. Oh how I miss helping the young ones with their homework and the adults find their favorite authors among the stacks....
Interests: First I love being with family every chance my hubby and I can. I love to garden.. Flowers only thank you kindly 8). On my "bucket to do list" still to be full-filled is to visit every state...only a few yet to go!
Favorite Music: Old Time Rock an Roll Golden Oldies but Goodies comes first of course! Billy Joel's "Keeping the Faith" is an example. Next because of my up-bringing..(I was raised to love "Hank William Sr" & Jimmy Rodgers) but now.. it's Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and Little Big Town just to name a few....My dearest Grandson is still trying to get me into Heavy Metal but so far my poor ears are resisting to that much loud sounds trying to enter them at any one time...
Favorite Movies: One of my very favorite Movies is one I'm certain very few friends will remember. This is Friendly Persuasion with Gary Cooper. Much more current favorites are..Guardians of the Galaxy 1&2 and Despicable Me and sequels...Gotta Love those Minions!
Favorite TV Shows: Before TV, my favorite was the Radio Program.."The Shadow Knows!" Which was always followed by that really scary laugh. Afterwards came TV with it's "Father Knows Best" and "Andy Griffin" type shows meant for the entire family to view and enjoy. These days Hubby and I get a kick outta "The Goldberg's" while I love and enjoy "Grays Anatomy" also.
