I wanted a Pembroke Welsh Corgi after we had a dog while I was growing up that was half Corgi and half Queensland Heeler. My parents refused to buy me a dog, so I decided to save up my own money and get one. I was attending a horse show at the Pomona Fairgrounds and low and behold… a lady was pushing a stroller with 3 Pembroke Welsh Corgis in it. I was instantly in LOVE!! So as a High School student I struck a deal with the lady and I knew that all the money I had been saving was going to be for one of those corgis. I picked out the cutest little male puppy and named him Buster. He was a Red Headed Tri that I adored! Buster was the start of it all, he was only 8 weeks old when I purchased him and he was the best dog ever! From then on I was hooked on the breed. Corgi’s are so smart, very loyal and truly the best family dog.
