Playing is another way of learning with your kids. These games below might just be the perfect ones for you.

It is no question that games are one of the best ways to learn in school. In the preschool curriculum, games are the best activities that will help them learn some of the basic education. However, you should not limit these games in the preschool setting. Why not add them to the games that you play at home.

With this in mind, down below are some of the games that are included in the preschool curriculum but can be played at home. Who knows, you might just be able to bond with your child in the long run.

Simon Says

Simon says is one of the classic preschool games in the preschool homeschool curriculum. This game allows your child to pay attention when someone is giving instructions. It also helps your youngsters to pay focus and pay attention when someone is talking to them.

Simon Says is a fairly easy game. The “it” will start with the words “Simon Says” then he will add the instructions in the end. For example, “Simon says, swim like a fish”. It also helps the child’s memory skills and cognitive skills.

Hopscotch

Another preschool game that you should consider playing with your children is hopscotch. This game is one of the best games to exercise their motor skills. This game has a lot of jumping and movements. This game is fairly easy to play.

Before starting the game, you need to create blocks on the ground. Some children write numbers inside these blocks. The numbers will serve as guides for them on where to jump or where to throw the stones. Once you finished writing the blocks and numbers, get two stones. You just jump on the blocks until you finish the whole set of blocks.

Hide and Seek

Another preschool game that every preschool curriculum should have is Hide and Seek. The classic hide and see allows the child to learn how to strategize and use his motor skills to hide. This game is one of the best preschool games because it helps children to use their minds on strategizing on the hiding place that no one will ever think of.

Row Your Boat

Row Row Row Row Your Boat is another game that you can play with your child. This game allows your child to move his body. It helps him raise his physical awareness around him. To do this, you need to pair him up with an older sibling or you can play with him. You need to position your body in such a way that you are rowing a boat on bended knees. You can sing the song together or ask someone to play the music with you. When someone stops the music, both of you should freeze on the current position. Whoever lasts longer in that position, wins the game.

Conclusion

Learning these preschool games can make the game time a lot enjoyable for you and your child. Bonding with your child can create the best relationship for both of you. Make sure that you enjoy these preschool games with your toddlers during this quarantine period.
