1. Set the rear air suspension to approximately half of the air spring height.
2. Fit the safety prop at the top between the screws on the shock absorber bracket in the frame.

3. Position the foot of the safety prop in front of the air bellows on the air spring link.
4. Detach the rotary control so that the release button can be pushed in and then pull the safety prop out to the correct length.

5. Finish by tightening the quick extension bar until the safety prop is stable.
Tighten the rotary control and lock the release button.

Removing the safety prop
1. Fill the air bellows with air until the safety prop is no longer under load.
WARNING!
Take care when removing the safety prop, there is a risk of crush injuries.
Detach the rotary control so that the button on the safety prop can be pushed in. Push the safety prop together and remove it.

Cummins CM850 and CM2850 engine fault code 2311,Electronic Fuel Injection Control Valve Circuit - Condition Exists. Fuel pump actuator circuit resistance too high or too low.

[URL=https://www.autoepccatalog.com/product/insite-8-8-8-7-diagnostic-software-for-eng
ine/]Cummins insite 8.9.2

[URL=https://www.autoepccatalog.com/product/high-quality-cummings-inline-6-diag
nostic-adapter-for-heavy-duty-truck/]Cummins inline 6

Circuit Description
The circuit is a pulse width modulation (PWM) driver in the ECM that controls the fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1. The fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 is grounded in the ECM. The ECM varies the current to this valve to provide the correct fuel flow to the high-pressure pump based on engine operating conditions. The fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 valve is a normally open valve. High circuit resistance can cause fuel pressure to be higher than commanded at light loads and Fault Code 1911 can be logged.

Component Location
The fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 valve is located on the engine mounted fuel pump housing.

Use the following procedur for a detailed component location view. Refer to Procedure 100-002 in Section E.

Shop Talk
If this fault code occurs during road test, verify that all connectors are clean and free of corrosion before replacing components. This fault code can become active for any of the following reasons: Fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 high resistance
Engine harness high resistance
Loose, worn, or corroded connectors or pins
Fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 with low internal resistance
Fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 or engine harness that has shorted to ground
Intermittent circuit failures that cause the fuel pressure to exceed the fuel rail pressure relief valve opening pressure.

If an intermittent electrical circuit problem of the fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 circuit exists, it is possible for the fault code to become active then inactive during normal engine operation. For example, if a poor connection causes an intermittent open or short circuit, the normally open valve will open in a fraction of a second, while the circuit is faulty causing the fuel rail pressure relief valve to open. Following the event that caused the fuel rail pressure relief valve to open, the ECM will attempt to reset the fuel rail pressure relief valve, provided the fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1 circuit is not still failed.

Following any event that opens the fuel rail pressure relief valve, the fuel rail pressure relief valve will regulate the fuel pressure at approximately 900 bar [13,053 psi]. If the ECM is still capable of controlling fuel pressure, the following will occur: The measured fuel pressure will reduce to 600 bar [8702 psi] as the ECM prepares to seat the fuel rail pressure relief valve.
Once pressure is 600 bar [8702 psi] and engine speed is greater than 1200 rpm, the ECM will momentarily close the fuel pump pressurizing assembly 1. This action will reduce the fuel rail pressure (to less than 20 bar [290 psi] for a fraction of a second) so that the fuel rail pressure relief valve will reset. At light engine loads, especially if the engine is sped while the driveline is not engaged, engine power interruption will be noticeable while the ECM attempts to reset the fuel rail pressure relief valve.
Once the ECM detects that the fuel rail pressure relief valve is reset, normal engine operation will resume and Fault Code 2311 will become inactive.

For installation and removal of the transport locking device, follow the instructions below:
1. The transport locking device must remain installed on both ends as long as possible during engine installation in order to avoid damage.
2. Prior to every engine transport, the transport locking device must be reinstalled on both sides according to the instructions.
3. If the engine is to be moved together with the generator, the transport locking device for the generator must also be installed.
4. Always use the screws supplied with or installed in the transport locking device to secure it on the engine.
5. Starting or barring the engine is allowed only with the transport locking device removed. If the generator is already mounted on the engine, ensure that the transport locking device of the generator is also removed.
6. Attach these instructions, clearly visible, to the engine.

Fitting the transport locking device on driving end (KS)

Note: Attach plate (6) only to the upper part of the openings.
1. Secure the two plates (6) with screws (4) and washers (5) at the bores on both sides of the flywheel housing and tighten to the specified tightening torque.

How to Solve Volvo 88890300 Connection error

Steps:
Error Code / Description: Communication issues with the [URL=https://www.autoepccatalog.com/product/volvo-vocom-88890300-adapter-for-volvo-renault
-ud-mack-truck-high-quality/]Vocom adapter (88800300) unit. Note that the Help menu in Tech Tool contains details on the Vocom functionality.

Steps to resolve:
1.Check that all the LED’s flash briefly when powering up the unit.

2.The top LED (PC) is green. When connected to the PC and Tech Tool is running, this light should flash intermittently when communicating.

3.The second LED (vehicle) should be green when connected to the vehicle. Note that this is to the vehicle battery. Ensure that the Ignition key is ON for communication.
• If the “Power USB/Communication”-LED does not light up,
• Try another USB-port
• Check if Windows performs “Installing device driver software”
• Check the USB cable and try different cable, or try another PC
• Still no function? If under warranty (24 months), return the unit.

4.When connected only to the vehicle: The unit should flash the LEDs, and then light the “Power Vehicle”-LED.
• If nothing lights up at all, Try replacing the vehicle cable,
• Check that ignition is on or try another vehicle.
• If the “Critical Error”-LED lit, try to update software
• Still no function? If under warranty (24 months), return the Vocom unit.
• Dealer can file a Parts warranty claim for the Vocom.
• Customers must go to an authorized dealer for warranty.
