The key difference between dating and a relationship is intent. When dating, people are in a phase where they enjoy each others company. They are not yet committed to each other, and the option of dating another person is always there. Therefore, there is no clear set of rules regarding exclusivity. In a relationship, the other person will have to commit to the person they are seeing for the rest of their lives. However, when it comes to dating, the two people are in the same position.

In a dating relationship, two people who are attracted to each other spend time together to see if they can stand each other. The relationship that develops is then a committed one. If both people are committed to each other, they will go to the extent of pretending to be in love. This may lead to cheating. So, when is a relationship a dating relationship? It is always best to make sure that both people are happy with the partner they have. Feel free to call Friend Vs Girlfriend at any time.

While dating is not inherently wrong, it does run counter to some religious traditions. In India, the fundamentalist group Sri Ram Sena threatened to marry all unmarried couples. They claimed that celebrating Valentine Day has nothing to do with Hindu tradition. Protesters responded by sending cartloads of pink underwear to the leaders office. These "pink chaddi" campaigns have made a big impact. While there are still challenges in the dating world, many of them are worth exploring.

In Asia, dating is often associated with marriage and extended families. In Japan, Omiai is a traditional way of arranging marriage. In the Greater China Area, Xiangqin is another traditional way of arranging a date. In both cases, third parties are involved, which can be a relative, an acquaintance, or a professional matchmaker. The pattern of dating has evolved over the years as human societies have developed from hunter-gatherers to civilized societies.

Once a friendship has developed into a romantic relationship, the next step is to develop feelings for the other person. This is possible only if the two people are honest with each other. For example, in Korea, a person who has an attraction to their friend should express it to their friend. This can be difficult in Western societies, but in Korea, it is a way to find a partner in the country. There are many Korean dramas that portray dating as a duty.
