It is often said that childhood is over
The first time we realize we are finite creatures
When our simple worlds, that once were vast
And all of existence, shrink to the infinitesimal.

Our worlds were empty of decisions
Naked of deception, choices always simple
How did our colors fade, ravaged by a singular moment
All of our tomorrows shadowed in each new today.
