What is Startup India Certificate ?
Startup India is a scheme introduced by the government of India in 2016 for startups to boost and grow their business all over the country. The Startup India scheme aims to create and grow large numbers of startups in India. By registering in the Startup India scheme a startup can have huge benefits and rise as a global leader in innovation. The government issues a certificate to the startup after completion of the startup India registration

Eligibility Criteria
Not more than 10 years of incorporation.
Turnover not exceeding INR 100Cr.
Incorporate as a Private LImited Compnay or LLP or Partnership Firm.
Working towards innovation, development or improvement of products or processes or services, or if it is a scalable business model with a high potential of employment generation or wealth creation.
Companies like proprietorship, NGO’s, Foundation, Social Work related companies are not eligable.
