When the dusk fades into grey
Strange illusions fill the sky
There I’m drawn towards the pale
Although in truth I live a lie

Here I blend within the shadows
Feeling distant, out of sight
Engulfed in liquid blackness
Distorted by the moonlight

Wild animals share my path
Striding through the hollow
Wide eyes sweep across the land
So familiar with the route we follow

Every step will bring me closer
To the dream I yearn to gain
Drawn from this aspiring forest
And onto the victory plane
