Weather Improving
Well the weather here is slowly getting milder but we are still getting wet days. We have been out birdwatching as the birds are starting to pair up and sing ready to soon start nesting. The migrants will soon be arriving next month if not before so it will be a busy time.

All Is Well
Well the good news is my wife and I seem to be back to full health. So fingers crossed it stays that way.

I have a lot of catching up to do on here so please bare with me. And no that doesn't mean you have to take your clothes off as well.

Let us all stop for a moment and think about all those poor souls in Australia. I cannot imagine how they must be feeling. Why do all these terrible things happen in our World? In the UK they have a saying,"There is always someone worse off than you". But at the moment I should imagine that those people caught up in the floods don't think so.

Thank you to everyone who has sent their wishes for Helen and me whilst we have been poorly. It is greatly appreciated and it makes you realise how many great frinds you have on DN.

Helen is feeling a bit better today I didn't get it as bad so I am reasonably OK.

Hello everyone. Well here it is 2011. I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to wish me a Happy New Year. I am sure I have missed people who I have meant to send greetings to. I apologise if I have missed you out.

Thank you everyone who has sent me messages regarding the loss of my cousin. It is greatly appreciated.

Strange how death is one thing that you can guarantee will happen to us all. But it is such a shock when it does.

My cousin died on Christmas Eve. It was a shock as he didn't tell the family he was ill .He didn't want to worry us. So it dampened our Christmas a lot. I didn't go on the computer over Christmas but would like to thank everyone who sent me cards and messages and has commented on my WPs since I have joined DN. I have made some wonderful friends on here and long may it last.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have an even better 2011.
