What if I went out and took a job that my husband told me he'd divorce me over if I ever did it again?

What if I added a blatant refusal to allow him into my finances to take care of my home and my children while I was gone at afore mentioned job, even though he'd spent the last 15 years proving that he could be trusted with my money even if we weren't getting along?

What if I added to that a mention of getting a post office box in another state so I could 'drop off the radar' and leave my husband to hold the bag with all the bill collectors knocking at his door?

Earlier this year he decided it would be ok if he went out drinking with another woman just because it was his birthday...well, not so much that it would be ok, just that it would be ok as long as I didn't find out. So he did this and then tried to lie about it when my son found him out. The other woman's sister finally told me the truth and he still tried to lie. Then a few weeks after that, he told me over the phone that he had nothing to show for all his hard work all his life and that he figured he'd be better off without me and my kids in his life.

For anyone who reads this, this kind of behavior is not suggested for promoting a healthy relationship with someone you claim to love.
