About Me:	Direct Bears sell Teddy Bears. That is all we do. We have over 500 different soft toys in stock. Based in the North West of England, Direct Bears was created in 2008. We ship our teddies all over the world and we have thousands of very happy customers. We are the only teddy bear company that can personalise any of our teddy bears with a selection of name tags, love hearts or any number of different shaped tags. We stock all the famous and well known brands such as Gund, Suki, Steiff, Russ Berrie, Me to you and more. We even have a department that home grown teddy bears that have been created can be purchased. People do ask how we started in business.... I mean selling and personalising teddy bears is not something that school boys and girls dream of doing when they grow up. It came about looking for the perfect product to sell. Being a manual worker for over 25 years, i realised that getting older was inevitable and that i needed something else to do. My children love the teddies they have and i decided that i would like to be a part of that.Spreading happiness around etc.. We have built our businesss up and now supply to hotels, promotional companies and the general public. Our first store was full of Dead stock from Gund. The Soft Toys that we purchased filled their boardroom and it soon made us aware that we required bigger premises. Teddy Bears and Soft Toys have now taken over of life. It has been a great learning curve but we do intend on upping our game. In 2013, we will be installing dedicated telephone lines and moving to a large building. We intend on stocking more ranges of Teddy Bears and Soft Toys from different manufactures. We have new software that allows you to spin the teddy bears around.
