Awesome shot showing the past and the future of naval aircraft together at sea . My days were all spent with the F-14 on board the Eisenhower as the main fighter and the hornet was in just production .

Looks like an average day of work at sea . Spent many a day and night on cats one and two aboard the Eisenhower . Standing 20 ft from a tomcat in full AB at night awaiting its shot was one of the best experiences to witness ... do miss those cats
