About Me:	Soltura is a Spanish word that means \looseness\ or \fluidity.\ Our trip itineraries aren't set in stone. Cuba travel Rather, they are developed around what we know you will enjoy based on what you tell us about yourselves and your interests before the trip. Soltura Cuba Travel was founded with the spirit of getting to know an unfamiliar place by developing friendships with the people who live there. Our travelers discover aspects of the culture that could never be found by following a tourist guidebook. We take you into the real Cuba - not just tourist sites. We provide you with a unique and memorable experience. We have experience in Cuba. Many years of it. We are well-organized and passionate about travel. We adhere to the rule of law as defined by the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control, and the laws of Cuba. We ensure that you have nothing to worry about in that regard. Cuba can be difficult to navigate without the help of somehow who knows its culture and how things work, whether it be negotiating the price of a taxi or where the best restaurants are. We have refined our tours over the several years that we have been leading them. You are a traveler, not a tourist. We lead small, specialized group trips and we introduce our travelers to Cuba through guest lectures and by getting to know Cuban people by spending time with them. We provide a more in-depth exposure to Cuban culture than what one might get through the window of a tour bus. We give back to the communities that we visit. We have an ongoing relationship with several Cuban-run community projects that provide free weekend creative workshops for Cuban youth, designed to enhance their sense of community, and instill in them a love for the arts. We bring donations that help support these projects. In addition, a percentage of our profit goes directly toward this objective. Visiting the project sites is usually a highlight of the trip for our travelers, and together we make a positive impact. As citizen diplomats, that is our priority. We are authentic. While there are now a myriad of tour companies organizing trips to Cuba (some of which have borrowed a bit from our published itineraries), we hold a sincere passion for the cultural experiences that we have fostered over the years that we have been leading tours to Cuba.
