...old souls never fade,
we just transmutate - transform, shapeshift
selecting
new genders, beings or creatures...verily
respectfully and dutiful as i stare
now
at the freshly dug up voluminous soils
inhaling the memories of pasts gone
by
as if they were all just yesterdays
yet eons ago - so far away, and so close
to my heart & soul ~
i had to resist
the temptation to jump right in forever
to lie still
awaiting some innocence to unveil somehow
youth
and all of its loves and passions eternally flowing
within our veins
pounding...
the stories and tales and legends and sagas
yes
they are so real, we are so real, always and connecting - seeking ~
searching
each other...out there, no matter how far away - how lonely
how cold,
i had to resist the tempation to cry
out
aloud & scream
your name, across the skies into the stars - along infinite trails of
universes
your inhales, your dreams, your wishes...
i had to resist
oh
what a shame
