The Camp Fire
The silent’s of the night is passing bye,
Oh so slow into the echo of the fire.
The smoke whispering across the lake,
Throughout the valley with a shadowy glow.
The darkness slowly crumbles away,
As the flames rise up to the heavens.
The heat of the everlasting fire,
Blankets our skin with a warm delight.
This camp is ever so refreshing,
To whoever passes by for a glimmer of the fires beauty.
