I'm a mom of 4 and a counselor. I live in Massachusetts, but am originally from Canada. In my spare time, I am a wildlife rehabilitator and animal rights activist. I have a dog and two cats and will soon be getting a chameleon for my 11-year old son.
Interests: Skating, running, hiking, walking on the beach, walking in the woods. I play the piano, but would love to learn how to play the guitar.
Favorite Music: Everything from Muse to Radiohead to Toby Keith to Nirvana to Kate Bush to Lady Gaga. Basically, I love ALL kinds of music except for jazz.
Favorite Movies: Have lots of them. A few are Titanic, all of the Godfather movies, The Jackal, and all of the Omen movies.
Favorite TV Shows: Downton Abbey, Homeland, Project Runway, The Leftovers, Real Time with Bill Maher, and Frasier reruns.

[B]Where I live is at the top of a plateau; I want you to know about the flat area's of TX, OK, and AR; we've had many damaged roads to deal with after flash-flooding rains.

We've had rain all week, and 4-inches of rain fell in an hour. The creeks, streams, and rivers were already full. Then we get more rain in OK and AR today.

This picture is of a rural highway, after the swollen stream had receded. There's more damaged roads, but this one had a concrete top over a huge pipe, that their road engineer said, "It can carry the water without any trouble."

What he didn't consider was the high amount of rain that this area gets.

I'd hate to have his job of "eating crow," because "his crow" is going to be an expensive one.[/B]
