About Me:Researches found that, like Chaco Canyon itself, virtually every far-flung community had a water control system. Whether the various water control initiatives in Chaco Canyon were part of one huge system or private projects is not understood. The added water might have been required for the greater populace of the Pueblo III duration or the arroyo might have been reduced so deeply that it was challenging to obtain irrigation water from Chaco Wash . In 1971 new excavations started in Chaco Canyon
