This year my daughter is growing green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cabbage. The cucumbers are very large, the green beans are long, and I can't tell about the cabbage. The tomatoes were supposed to be the bigger-burger-sized ones, but they are smaller than a baseball. We (also) have had lots of rain, but our gardens are elevated above the yard. For the last 2 summers she has grown Sunflowers, but high winds have made them fail or fall-over and die. She didn't plant them this year and everything else has grown very well.
She just told me that she had planted watermelons, but they never produced any flowers. I like melons.
