About Me:	Garrett Black was born in the small, rural community of Mission, British Columbia, Canada. As a boy, Garrett's grandfather, Robert "Grandpa Bob" Parks introduced him to serials, adventure films and the classics from Westerns to sprawling epics. He developed a love for entertaining others and was fascinated with the medium of film as a way to tell stories. While in high school, (Heritage Park Secondary School) Garrett acted in a number of plays and worked in the film department on various film and broadcasting projects. Out of high school, Garrett was offered a scholarship to York University in Toronto, Canada and studied acting there.
