While Toyota may no doubt have the copyright to the original photo the fact is that they're attacking people advertising their product in a positive way. How does that make economical sense? Did someone high up enough get wind that his position was in jeopardy and decided to retaliate against the company, and somehow actually make this happen? Or are Toyota lawyers just that bored? Either way I don't think I'll be buying any Toyotas anytime soon. Luckily they never hugely appealed to me in the first place, and this is just another nail in another car companies coffin. Gotta make yah wonder if we all essentially weren't required to drive to live average lives (I realize this doesn't apply to everyone, particularly urban dwellers) if car companies would've lasted this long.

Indeed, Toyota is a piece of shit company in my opinion. Basically they're saying you can't take a picture of your Toyota vehicle and upload it on the internet.

If Toyota succeeds in their endeavor to wipe out the existence of independently created fan art such as this, then I will never own another Toyota. By embarking upon such a campaign I can only assume Toyota has insane monkeys running their legal department.
