About Me:A ring light is basically a flash positioned in a big circle, if you want an extremely easy description. The camera lens is held in a hollow circle in the center to get the most light from the ring. Lester A. Dine developed it in 1952 for medical/dental functions. So, the initial intent was to take dentistry photographs, but the scope of its usage broadened to include style photography. Ring lights are now offered in 3 sizes. One is a tiny medical ring light that may be placed in front of the camera
