According to Khan Brothers, qawwali music derives from the heart as well as the performers\' vocals, instruments, and clapping. Khan Brothers Qawwal uses the traditional Sufi emotion of "inebriation, however without the alcohol" to demonstrate the beauty of Sufi music and to transport listeners out of the "present" through trance-like music.
