I have always had a passion for science, art and nature.

When I was seven years old I made my first DC circuit out of some wires, a battery, a small light, a paperclip and some duck tape. A year later I constructed a model out of toilet rolls and other cardboard recycling materials at school and imagined my creation being much bigger, out in space terraforming distant planets, making them livable for humans. For this I won the Science and Technology Medal at my local public school. Coming from adversity, I've always tried to push the envelope of what I've been capable of creating and how much knowledge I can obtain in the process.

I've followed my passions for art and science through high school and into university where I have been studying a B.A. Biotechnology. Over the years I have dabbled in many hobbies and artistic mediums, whether it's acrylics or oils, brush or airbrush, canvas, photography or digital design, I push myself to the limit in terms of exploration with novel techniques, new mediums or a complex mix of them all. In all my art I try to convey meaning, like a story though the styles, themes and subjects, in the hopes of inducing not only ideas but also emotions.

Also, while studying I brought my first microscope and camera to capture images from the microcosm, and was amazed when I saw things you would expect in a far away galaxy. After selling enlargements of my microscopy photos to friends and family, I decided to take the next step, and bring my love of science, nature and art all together as a business venture.

Which has led me here, to Impulse Art.

This space is for fellow lovers of creativity, those obsessed with the life sciences and their friends and families.

Through this website I hope to spread my awe for Biology and instill amaze and interest with my Microscopy enlargements and make the distinction between artistic expression and the natural world around us blur.
