This spicy shrimp recipe makes a great dish for a party, because most of the preparation can be done well in advance. The spicy sauce can be made early in the day, then reheated as shrimp cooked just before serving.

For a very nice presentation, serve this dish in a rice ring. To do this, boil 1 1/2 cups long grain white rice according to package directions, but add 1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley 1 clove garlic, chopped, 1 small can of diced mild chili. When the rice is done, press it into a greased ring mold. If preparing in advance, let the rice into the mold, cover with aluminum foil, then leave in a warm oven until serving time.
