GREAT PIC! ... But, per my stint in the USN, it's dangerous to be on final approach with 'stores still aboard!' ... Note the bomb on the port wing's outboard pylon! ... And, speaking of pylons, what a great way to totally destroy any/all stealthiness we paid billions for! |

Only a few aircraft exemplify the adage, "If It Looks Right, It'll Fly Right!" And, of those, IMHO, the Grumman F8F 'Bearcat' says it best! |

They say, "If it looks right, it'll fly right!" Well, in that case, I'm surprised this thing ever got off the ground! 'Nuf sed! |

One of the most-alluring front-ends to ever come out of Detroit! I LOVE the mesh grill and amber parking lights! 'Nice work, Mr. DeLorean! |

OUTSTANDING CONCEPT! Although I'm not a big fan of the side window sill 'Enzo-ish' angular curve, this style has great potential! NICE WORK! |

This is a 1929 Duesenberg Model-J with bodywork built by the Walter M. Murphy Company, of Pasadena, California. IMHO. the disappearing-top Murphy 'Deusey' is simply the greatest work of automotive art ever to come together in the USofA - or anywhere else for that matter! Although not the best businessmen, the Deusenberg brothers, August & Fred (not to be confused with Jake and Elwood!) were - and, IMHO, still are - the most-talented automobile "crafters" ever to "come down the pike!" THANKS for posting this outstanding image of a by-gone era! |
