I advise against taking the 2 together though. Casein has a unique quality, in that it will coagulate in the stomach. This causes other proteins to be absorbed much more slowly. It would be like trying to make whey run through a vat of tar. So use whey pre and post workout and casein in between meals to keep your protein synthesis going full on all day.
