The Bonds Between Us
[I][B]Alone in contemplation, the night begins.
Floating inward, the freedom of darkness.
Thoughts and scenes flow within me.
A chemical tide of fractured memories.

Fleeting shadows of remembrance, haunting me.
Vivid treasures from long ago, sustaining me.
Evidence and exposition, inconstant allies, urging me.
Answers born of long battles, denying me.

She embraces my thoughts with silken arms.
Whispers promises to ease my longing in softest dreams.
Her seduction of lies tell of time and love, all desires.
Still always she flees at dawn, ephemeral morning mist.

Yet still we hasten to find her.
In musing or in dreams, to possess her.
For it is our particular doom and greatest fortune.
That at the last, we forget.[/I][/B]
