L Frank Baum was definitely stoned when he wrote this chapter of the book. I loved the way they brought it to life. Too bad they couldn't have used Buddy Epstein for the Scarecrow and Ray Bolger as the Tin Man as originally considered. That would have made the movie entirely different but still worth watching!!!

No matter which part this guy is playing in this movie, whether it be professor Marval, the gate keeper, the cabbie, the throneroom guard, or the wizard......this guy is GREAT!!!!! I just wish my brain would allow me to remember his name!!!
