One day a little girl woke up and realized that her room was different. She saw the paint on her wall was white instead of pink. She saw her closet on the opposite side of her room. The little girl closed her eyes, feeling scared, thinking she wasn't home. When she opened her eyes, the paint on her wall was pink and her closet was back to where it was. Wondering if it was a dream or not, the little girl rubbed her eyes, hoping she wasing seeing things. When she stopped, her room really was white and her closet was on the other side of her room.
That's when she remember the room she was thinking of was her bedroom she had since she was two. The little girl remembered she moved a week ago and she wasn't where she belonged. So she cried, loudly. Her mom woke up and came in her room to confort her. "What's wrong?" said the mom.
"This isn't my home." The little girl said through tears.
"Yes it is, hunny. It's your new home."
"No mommy, I haven't been here long enough to call it that. This is just a house we live it. Home is where you feel safe from anything in the world. Home is where love is too. Mommy, I love you and you love me, but I don't feel this way here." I have no home, thought the little girl.
