 | Mimibunny has commented on the profile of katehatheway: I have been asked to post this message from Kate's sisters...Dear Fans of Kate: We are so sorry to tell you that Kate passed away in her sleep on Saturday night, February 27 after a long struggle with cancer. One of her early comments on her profile (or messages or whatever) was "I am so happy to be here!" She found a real home at DN and thrived in making friends on line that she found very difficult to do in person. So many of you were (are) so welcoming and loving that she truly created a new family with you. When I would visit her in the nursing home she was always online and would share with me pictures and messages from her friends. She knew all of your preferences and who liked what kind of pictures. Please send flowers and a note of farewell to Kate or a message to her sisters, Jenny and Melinde. Many thanks for your kindness. You all were hugely important to her and by extension to us.
