Removing the signature or changing the file in any way is most definitely infringement. I have spent hours and sometimes days making the graphics that I use in a wallpaper. Not one single wallpaper of mine on this site has given me credit or acknowledged me as the creator nor have I received a link to my site or Theme Shack. You all should be ashamed. Most of the desktop authors I know offer their creations free of charge. A little respect in return would be nice. The safest bet would be do not post something if you don't know who created it!
