Poem: Time Moves On

The sun shines and the winds blow
Waters rise and fall
Which way do we turn
Which way do we go

Days and weeks
Months and years
They pass each one
Not to return

What good do we do
What act of kindness has been done
Time passes
Our lives moving on

Act now for tomorrow isn't promised
Act now on what you can do today

Don't wait or procrastinate
Tomorrow may be to late

No one knows the time we have here
The choices we make, the joy we can share
But what if we wait and tomorrow is no more
Our days are gone, not one moment more

Have you done all you can do to bless just one,
To make a difference today, to bring joy to at least one
A flower, a call, a smile or a hug
What a difference it can make in a world where there is .........

Time moves on, it will not wait.
