When you buy shampoo and conditioner you’re buying results, right? There’s just one problem. You’re also buying plastic bottles. The unfortunate reality is plastic is rarely actually recycled, and it's corrupting the oceans, killing wildlife—even seeping into our food supply. Does that mean you have to give up looking good to do what’s right for the planet? Not if you find an alternative that eliminates the plastic, while delivering the salon-quality results you’ve come to expect.

The dirty little secret is most traditional shampoos and conditioners are roughly 80% water. That’s why they come in a bottle. And that’s why most bathrooms are filled with bottles. But wait—don’t bathrooms already have…water? So why not keep all those high-end ingredients that go into spa and salon-quality products—and eliminate the water? Presto! What’s left is highly concentrated, which means it performs better and lasts longer.

And we don’t stop there. Our packaging is all paper, printed with vegetable-based ink—so it won’t outlast its welcome. Instead of typical packaging that can last for centuries, HiBAR’s can be recycled as fiber for other uses, or composted to feed the flowers. Even our shipping containers are 100% plastic-free. No bubble wrap. No plastic tape. We even finish our pallets with compostable wrap.
