Hi Richard,

I am sorry that you feel this was posted in poor taste.

It was never my intention to offend anyone.

The fact that a B-52 was at right angles to the ground made for an interesting image.

I had knowledge of this crash in Fairchild AFB in 1994 and knew there were fatalities.

To be in poor taste it would have some kind of inane heading or description.

I hope the above details explain my reasoning to you, for posting the image.

No, this is not an F-104 Starfighter but appears to be a B-58 Hustler bomber. Note the three man crew running to the aircraft; the Starfighter had only one crewman, the pilot.
