I've heard that the cockpit gauge layouts of Russian fighter aircraft are somewhat crude. However, IMHO, the exterior design of this particular variant is ... well ... sublime. :-) 'Dunno who said it, but the comment "If it looks right, it'll flight right." definitely applies to the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum!

It's not using nitrous. Those are exhaust fumes bursting in to flames. That happens with many Lamborghinis.

Ehhhh, I wouldn't call it an "airplane" per se. This is a Valkyrie VF-1 transformable mecha fighter, a fictional military craft from the Japanese anime universe of Macross. It is only one of many such transforming craft in anime, borrowed in the US cartoon Robotech and also as the original Autobot aircraft Jetfire. But it IS a nice shot. :-)
