I really believe that the download button needs to be REMOVED!!!
I have had sooooooooooooooooo many wallpapers that have been hit on lately --walls that have had a 2 rating go to a -3
that says to me that there is a group of people that have an issue with me. If you have a problem with me-then tell me either in a PM or in my comments column--doing this is a petty way of acting and is disgusting
the sad part about this is that this is happening to a lot of other members lately and it is just not right!
I have never done something like this and never will. If I do not like a wallpaper whose page I have visited and do not like the image, I leave it alone. I respect the time that another member has taken to get the image and time to upload it here.
A lot of work goes into my wallpapers.

I painted in the background, and did a colour correction
placed in the arches , the trees [all separately],the lady, the fountain and each frog separately
--each one of these had to be post processed [pp] before they could be used to go in this wp
I wrote that this wp took over 3 hours to do-{that was just putting it together}-add on the time to do the pp on the wallpaper page that means that there was a lot more time involved in creating this wp and someone or group of friends voted it down!!

I designed 2 birthday cards for my 2 cousins and thought that I would post them here on DN. Hoped that people would enjoy them.
I have gotten a PM that these walls were not suitable because of having someone\'s name on them. and that the walls would be of no interest to any one! Well they both have been downloaded 27 times each

something I learned in what is called a learning circle--I would be about 20 at the time
And Elder lead the Circle and this is her teaching more or less and it is one that has stayed with me.
there is a world wide health problem--and it is a very serious one.
--it has caused wars--families to be torn apart--destroyed reputations--caused damage that can never be undone--caused people to take their own lives and the sad list goes on
the doctors have no cure for this problem--there are no cures in the medical community.
the problem is gossip
the cure is not repeating an account of something written or said that may have been totally mis-understood by someone. and this can be when there is a difference in culture
And she went on to say this
IF YOUR LIFE IS SO EMPTY THAT YOU HAVE TIME TO DISCUSS OTHERS--THEN MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE.
And you know to this day I remember that story. And it is something that has stayed with me all those years and it has a lot to do with the way that I treat others.
If I have an issue with another person--it is between myself and them--not the rest of the world and I firmly believe that this is the way that life should be handled

I waited quite awhile before getting an avatar. I wanted one that said it all about me and something that be a one time choice--hence the one that I have.
I do not undertstand this constant changing of the avatars by other members--but that is cool very one is entitled to their own ideas. But my Canadian Flag!!! everytime I see her flying out here in the real world my heart just swells so much.
I do not remember who posted the particular image that I chose but thank you very much.

I find that the cards that are on each persons profile page are very interesting and if the fact that when I return a message or thank someone for the ''card''sent I take a look at the cards in the comment column makes me nosey then I guess I am.
And thank you to everyone that has sent me a card for I do appreciate the time taken to send me one. As I stated on my profile page I am a new computer user. I have no idea beyond sending e-mails from my e-mail address to someone on how to transfer an image. So I find the cards very interesting.
And enjoy the creativity of the sender after ''talking'' to some of the people here about the creating. And at this time it is something that is beyond my computer skills and I am quite comfortable with that.

this is all new to me-the world of computers-I never would have thought I would have enjoyed it so much.
everyone that I have met here at DN have made it a pleasant experience to be here. the fact there is a social side to this web page is great and made my time here very interesting!! I have enjoyed hearing from every one
