| I don't know if you have someone close to you dying or what, I do have a best friend who is dying. I know she thinks about it constantly but at this point, she can't go out and do anything she would have wanted, never could, it takes money to do anything. I know what you mean as far as trying to enjoy your life and getting out of it what you can while you can but people can't always do that. All she talks about is how she wants to go to sleep every night and not wake up, she won't let anyone come & visit her, only will talk on the phone. It's very hard to talk to her now, how do you talk to someone like that, we have been friends for 38 yrs and I can't help or be with her. My husband thinks I should just go anyway (we live in different states) but I don't know if I should go against her wishes. I did like reading your entry though. I guess I needed to let it out. |
