Quote:
Death ends a Life, not a Relationship !!

Everyone knows they’re going to die but nobody believes it. If we did, we would do things differently.
But why is it so hard to think about dying?
The culture doesn’t encourage you to think about such things until you’re about to die. We’re so wrapped up with egotistical things, career, family, having enough money, meeting the mortgage, getting a new car, fixing the radiator when it breaks—we’re involved in trillion of little acts just to keep going. So, we don’t get into the habit of standing back and looking at our lives and saying, “Is that all? Is this all I want? Is something missing?”
But to know you’re going to die, and to be prepared for it at anytime. That’s better. That way you can actually be more involved in your life while you’re living.
And instead we kid ourselves about death.
Because, once you learn how to die, you learn how to live!!
But many of us think when the death is approaching us; many questions come up in our minds like “Would I be consumed with the sad thoughts of all that I had missed? Would I regret the secrets I had kept hidden?”
And it’s what everyone worries about it, isn’t it?
So you need someone to probe you in that direction. It won’t just happen automatically.
Most of us all walk around as if we’re sleepwalking. We really don’t experience the world fully, because we’re half-asleep, doing things we automatically think we have to do.
So do you think facing death changes all that?
Yes, you strip away all that stuff and you focus on the essentials. When you realize you are going to die, you see everything much differently. As I said “Learn how to die, and you learn how to live.”
The things you spend so much time on-all this work you do-might not seem as important. You might have to make room for some more spiritual things.
We are too involved in materlistic things and they don’t satisfy us. The loving relationships we have, the universe around us, we take these things for granted.

So in the last I would conclude saying that: Do not stop your lives just because you are dying because this death will have ruined your loved ones instead of one.

I don't know if you have someone close to you dying or what, I do have a best friend who is dying. I know she thinks about it constantly but at this point, she can't go out and do anything she would have wanted, never could, it takes money to do anythin...   Read More >>
