Extremely Cool! I once built an Earles fork beemer, a /2 BMW design with a tricked out 1000cc /7 mill and a Russian sidecar. I painted it to look like one of Rommels desert machines from the World War. It was nice, but not nearly as inspired as this very cool Vespa and VW rig. I owned one of the 1964 VW busses like that and drove it halfway around the world--and to Mexico city by way of Acapulco--and back before trading it for the down payment on a house in Santa Cruz. The best car I ever owned! I had a Vespa too--a fine little scoot. I wonder how he keeps that Vespa from overheating pulling that big sidecar--especially with a passenger. They are not known for power!

This does not appear to exist. A download of the original pulls a 404! Time to fix or remove?

I wish I had kept my 1965 model. It was a beauty, started first kick nearly every time, took me from San Jose to Mexico and back with a wonderful lady who broke her collarbone when her Honda 305 crashed from a speed wobble.

I guess I'm in favor of the looks bikes had in the 50's and 60's. They were real motorcycles then and real men rode them. Considering the reliability, the saying went like this: Don't buy anything you can't carry five miles. Back then, when a motorcycle rider spit in the street, everyone backed up fast... Today, when a motorcycle rider spits in the street, little old ladies waggle their finger and say 'You nasty young man, where are your manners!' and the motorcycle rider backs up faster. Now, the saying is a whine, and you hear it when one of those riders has to have his bike fixed at an expensive shop. My, my, have times changed.

That appears to be the stock wallpaper in windows 7 with some color changes. I find it interesting that few people have noticed.

You want one? First, you must be very wealthy or know how to hypnotize several dozen crew and three store owners for the supplies needed to maintain it. Then you can spend the next five years learning seamanship. Doubt me? Don't!

When hubless design begins to have enough engineering and testing behind it, I may consider it. The weight reduction (if factual) is an unsprung benefit, but what about the safety, durability as well as consumer maintenance and repairability without the need for specialized tooling. All reasonable concerns before some fool writer sticks my name in the obituaries of a local rag for a very dramatic, extremely bloody crash into some immovable object bristling with pointed steel.
